I have an acquaintance who was kind enough to accompany me to the grocery store yesterday, to be an extra set of hands and feet.You cannot imagine how useful this really was- for fetching forgotten last-minute items (forgetfulness is a major theme these days), to shorten the produce-selection process, to load all of my groceries onto the conveyor (when your baby is in a Baby Bjorn, you don't want to lean forward too far). She even returned my cart as I loaded the baby, stroller, and groceries into a cab (okay, the cab driver helped, too).
If you know anyone with a small baby, and want to do a major act of kindness, offer to assist her in the grocery store. You never thought of that one, did you?

That is SUCH a chesed! And it's a great reminder to ask for help. I'm lousy at remembering to do that. Thank you for the reminder! And IY"H, may you have many friends to help you and many opportunities to help someday in the future!
